Sword
For this project, I wanted to model a 3D Sword to improve my hard-surface modeling skills and practice hand-painting. After discovering the beautiful concept made by André Kent, I was excited to translate the concept to 3D! As part of my workflow, I also used Photoshop to add small additional details and to paint the Smoke VFX. To save on texture space most of the objects use mirrored UVs for the back side.
